Reno Loses José Lara for Season

José Lara has to call it a season. The Reno Raiders starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Pasadena Bumblebees and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Lara was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months.
Checking out his stats for the season, Lara has racked up 3 wins and 2 losses in 4 starts, 5.14 ERA and struck out 68 batters in 82.1 innings.
