Yildiz and Bleazard Suspended 10 Games Saturday, September 23rd, 2028 It was quite a row yesterday at Spartans Park. The Spartans Yasar Yildiz and the Baristas Bert Bleazard backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Yildiz and Bleazard were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 10-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. In 94 games this season Yildiz has batted at a .249 pace with 90 hits and 7 home runs. Bleazard's record this season is 1-and-5 with no saves and a 9.51 ERA. He has given up 42 hits in 23.2 innings with 11 strikeouts. |
