Pérez and Torres Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, August 5th, 2028 There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at The Ice Box. Both dugouts emptied when Minneapolis's Jesús Pérez and Omaha's Esteban Torres scuffled with one another after some heated words. In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 6 games. This year Pérez is batting .236 with 26 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 15 times and has batted in 26 runs. Torres has made 43 relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 64.1 innings he has a 4-2 record, 5.46 ERA with 85 strikeouts and 31 walks. |
