Bang-up Game: McCullough Slams 3 Homers Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Today was a special one for Bob McCullough of the Amarillo Horseman as he slammed three home runs in the 16-3 win over the Scranton Escape. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Amarillo first baseman had quite a game at Horseman Field as he collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 3 runs.
