BCL Top Pitcher in July: Sriramesh Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Balamitra Sriramesh, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Joplin Fireballs closer, 25, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .130 average and walked away with the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month award for July. Sriramesh posted a 3-0 mark and a 0.69 ERA in 12 relief appearances. In 13 innings, he had 7 saves, 11 strikeouts, and 4 walks. This year Balamitra Sriramesh has been credited with 27 saves.
