Gómez Gets July's Top Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 In July, Ramón Gómez tore through the Kade Stenson League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Fairfield starter posted a 5-1 mark and an ERA of 3.43 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 39.1 innings he collected 41 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .218 average. This year Gómez has worked 139.1 innings with 124 strikeouts en route to a 13-6 record and a 4.78 ERA. |
