Rafael Cruz Wins BCL Trophy Monday, July 31st, 2028 27-year-old Rafael Cruz made a few Vancouver headlines during this past week as the rookie designated hitter proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 15 hits in 30 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Cruz collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 6 runs. So far this season Cruz has gotten 154 hits in 460 at-bats for a .335 batting average with 28 home runs. His stats include 90 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He has played in 108 games. |
