Year Over for Horseman Wright Sunday, July 30th, 2028 A blow for Thomas Wright today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Wright suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Amarillo Horseman are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Wright's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. During this season Wright has 42 relief appearances and registered 25 saves. Batters are hitting him at a .133 rate and his season record is 3-2 with a 2.27 ERA. He has logged 43.2 innings and struck out 50. |
