Ghosal and Altichioro Suspended 5 Games Friday, July 14th, 2028 Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Chicago's Jaswant Ghosal and Detroit's Ánibal Altichioro. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 5 games for their aggressive actions. "I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Death Stars said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead." In 2028 Ghosal has hit at a .268 clip with 83 hits, 16 home runs, 51 RBIs and has scored 48 times. In 17 starts this year Altichioro has recorded a 9-4 record and a 3.43 ERA. |
