Flash Trieu Lost for Year Sunday, July 9th, 2028 The doctors have spoken and Bi`nh Trieu of the Fairfield Flash didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Trieu sustained his season-ending injury during the Wichita Wranglers game yesterday at Bulldog Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Fairfield medical staff reported Trieu had bone chips in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. His record this season is 3-3 in 10 starts and Trieu has a 3.00 ERA. |
