Freeze Wang to Miss Year Friday, June 16th, 2028 A blow for Pao-tzu Wang today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8-9 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Wang suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Minneapolis Freeze are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Wang's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Wang has 11 relief appearances with 1 save, 0-0 season record and a 1.00 ERA. He has hurled 18 innings, given up 7 hits, struck out 23 and walked 5.
