BCL Awards Player of the Week Monday, May 29th, 2028 26-year-old Masamichi Sasaki made a few Detroit headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .520 average. Sasaki collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Sasaki has collected 63 hits for the Death Stars this year, 7 of them home runs. He has also netted 41 RBIs and scored 37 runs while batting .337. |
