Players Suspended in Sabercats-Escape Donnybrook

Mdewanketon and Scranton were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 9-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Mystic Lake Stadium.
For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Sabercats Sudhin Diwan and the Escape Bobby Wilson will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served.
During the current season Diwan is batting at a .270 clip with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 37 games and scored 22 times.
This season Wilson has gone 1-3 with an ERA of 7.29, posting 42 strikeouts in 58 innings.
