Kamida and Castillo Suspended for Free-for-All
Wednesday, May 10th, 2028
Bad blood could be brewing between the Freeze and the Raptors. In yesterday's contest at The Ice Box, Minneapolis's Seinosuke Kamida and Omaha's Jesús Castillo caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Kamida and Castillo were ejected by the umpires.
Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 8 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.
League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.
In this current campaign Kamida is hitting at a .147 clip with no home runs and 0 RBIs.
This season Castillo has worked 32.1 innings with 35 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 record and a 5.57 ERA.
