Monday, May 1st, 2028
Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Carl Pollard, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Detroit Death Stars reliever, 28, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .128 average and walked away with the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month award for April.
Pollard posted a 1-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA in 14 relief appearances. In 14.2 innings, he had 10 saves, 15 strikeouts, and 6 walks.
