Hara Raps Scranton for 5 Hits Saturday, April 22nd, 2028 Even as a kid, Akio Hara said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Hell Stadium today, Hara showed how well he learned that lesson. The 23-year-old third baseman had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Fort Worth Cats, helping his team knock off the Scranton Escape by a score of 11-4. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today." Akio Hara singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year Hara is batting .413 with 3 home runs.
