6-Hit Barrage by Lontok Sunday, April 16th, 2028 Alex Lontok exploded for a barrage of base hits today at The Cave at Barton Springs. The Vancouver third baseman had a field day in the 21-12 triumph over the Peoria Caterpillars, finishing 6-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Lontok must have focused at least 6 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Alex Lontok hit a two-run home run off Tommy Bartlett in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Sancho Ortega in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
