Top KSL Hurler Honors Go to Ruíz Tuesday, October 26th, 2027 The Amarillo Horseman have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Ángel Ruíz, this year's Kade Stenson League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Ruíz compiled a 10-1 record in 12 starts, tallied 94 strikeouts in 85.2 innings and recorded a 1.26 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .191 batting average against him. Salah bin Atif of the Coronado Phantoms finished second in voting, while Jim Leclair of the Fort Worth Cats finished third. |
