Fireballs Out of Playoff Race Thursday, September 30th, 2027 Abalendu Sourabh said the "entire Joplin Fireballs organization" takes it hard when the team misses the postseason. That's the case today, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Fireballs have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 15 years as a TRIPLE A franchise.
