Phillips Whips Acapulco Monday, September 6th, 2027 Jim Phillips pitched a strong game in blanking the Acapulco Banditos 3-0, allowed no runs on 5 hits, totaled 4 strikeouts and gave up no walks. The Albuquerque manager said he could tell right away it was going to be a good game for Phillips. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," he said. "He threw a lot of strikes." In season stats Phillips shows a 6-8 record in 25 games, 125.1 innings, 80 strikeouts and a 4.45 ERA. |
