Kobayashi Twirls Shutout Thursday, September 2nd, 2027 Mitsunari Kobayashi of the Pasadena Bumblebees whitewashed the Minneapolis Freeze 7-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 5 hits while chalking up 6 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk. Talking to BNN writers after the game, his manager said, "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys. Mitsunari is pretty poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff." This year Kobayashi has chalked up a 4.29 ERA with no saves. In no relief appearances he has put up a 4-4 won-lost mark and struck out 57 batters in 71.1 innings. |
