Mdewanketon Goes Hitless Against Bisson
Wednesday, September 1st, 2027
In a dominant outing, Kenneth Bisson of Champaign totally silenced the bats of the Mdewanketon Sabercats. In the 1-0 victory he faced only 32 batters, surrendered no hits, had 8 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"I'll be very honest with you," his manager said. "I didn't know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning. I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had. Then I happened to notice that they didn't have any hits."
Commenting on his defeat, the losing manager told reporters in the clubhouse how he saw the game, "Well, it was pretty simple today, the Chiefs had all the hits and all the runs. And Bisson pitched a heck of a ballgame."
Bisson has started 23 times this year, pitched 136 innings, fanned 100 batters and walked 50. His current record is 6 wins and 7 losses with a 4.04 ERA.
