Kim on Fire: 5-for-5 for Coronado Wednesday, July 21st, 2027 Coronado catcher Hae-nim Kim could do no wrong in today's 20-3 win over the Arsenal as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Arsenal said to the press corps after the game. Kim agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Hae-nim Kim walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this season Kim is hitting .310 with 1 home run, 16 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 84 at-bats and has played in 22 games. |
