Vancouver's Sato BCL Star of the Week Monday, May 3rd, 2027 20-year-old Teruo Sato made a few Vancouver headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .381 average. Sato collected 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Currently Sato has 5 home runs and a .320 batting average. |
