Bad News for Wichita, Juan Sánchez Hurt Wednesday, April 28th, 2027 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against El Paso Diablos, Wranglers third baseman Juan Sánchez was injured running the bases and is expected to miss 4 months with a strained hip muscle. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Wichita skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This season Sánchez has delivered 26 hits in 82 at-bats for a .317 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .378 clip and his totals also include 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
