Barrett Takes TML Cy Young Award Tuesday, November 14th, 2028 The Cy Young Award for 2028 has been presented and the Thurman Munson League winner is Paul Barrett of Eureka. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Barrett. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hornets star told reporters. Barrett excelled with an impressive 20-7 record in 33 starts. In 208.2 innings he yielded 171 hits and 39 walks, while striking out 237 and compiling a fine 2.98 ERA. Tom O'Day of the South Carolina Bombers finished second in voting, while Bruce Lowe of the Cabo San Lucas Toreros finished third. |
