Las Vegas's Deleón Selected Outstanding Rookie
Tuesday, November 14th, 2028
It was a very productive rookie season for Las Vegas first baseman Dante Deleón. He made the club, made the starting lineup, then in the regular season put up numbers impressive enough that the Roberto Clemente League presented him the league's Rookie of the Year Award for 2028.

It was a season to remember for the 25-year-old Gamblers newcomer. In addition to hitting .335, Deleón played in 126 games and collected 28 home runs, 87 RBIs and 82 runs scored.

Paul Johnston of the Dallas Texans finished second in voting, while Francisco Valdéz of the Seattle Sasquatch finished third.
