Roberto Clemente League Crowns Havana's Hardy Tuesday, November 14th, 2028 The Havana Stogies have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Joe Hardy, this year's Roberto Clemente League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Hardy compiled a 23-4 record in 31 starts, tallied 269 strikeouts in 230 innings and recorded a 1.76 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .215 batting average against him. Tanner Johnson of the So Cal Republic finished second in voting, while Ross Allan of the Duke City Danger finished third. |
