Despite his hitting heroics at House of the Republic today, the Stogies lost 10-8 to the So Cal Republic. Thean battered So Cal for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Thean just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits."
