Manglorkar on Fire: 5-for-6 for Georgia Tuesday, October 3rd, 2028 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Abalendu Manglorkar, it came around today. The 27-year-old second baseman scattered hits all over McNichols Stadium to pace the Georgia Grays to a 8-7 victory over the Mile High Mustangs. Mile High skipper Dave Harris told reporters in the press room that "Manglorkar deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Manglorkar hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Abalendu Manglorkar singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sylvester Richardson in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
