Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division Champions Crowned Tuesday, October 3rd, 2028 The champagne was flowing in the Maple Marauders clubhouse today, as men quickly transformed into boys with the realization that the club had clinched the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Arinori Nakamura. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 97-63 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st ABL World Series championship. Reliever Héctor Zúñiga said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 9th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
