Cook at His Best, Blanks Columbus Monday, October 2nd, 2028 In an outstanding mound performance, Omaha Titans starter Robert Cook fired a complete-game shutout against the Columbus Codebreakers at Titans Park today. Cook was the key to the Titans's 1-0 win. The 28-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and no walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This season Cook has a 10-16 record with a 4.35 ERA.
