TML Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, October 1st, 2028 Tadataka Yoshino is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In September the Georgia hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .313 average with 25 hits, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs. So far this season, Yoshino has recorded a .282 batting average with 49 hits, 8 home runs, 29 RBIs, 29 runs scored and a .373 OBP. |
