Hornets Sit Atop Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division Saturday, September 30th, 2028 Andrés Nevárez said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Eureka Hornets teammates were so excited to celebrate their Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 90-68 record on the season. It is the club's 8th Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division championship and puts them in position for their 3rd ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. "It's a pretty talented bunch in that room," manager Stephen Jackson said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
