Havana Stogies Win Top Spot in Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division Saturday, September 30th, 2028 The Havana Stogies are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a ABL World Series parade in the city of Havana. They've taken the first big step, winning the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said starting pitcher Joe Hardy. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 92-66 and it is the 3rd time they've won the division title. Team manager Reynaldo Vázquez said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
