The Hitmen reliever suffered a torn labrum during a game against the Dallas Texans and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. This year Layar is 4-and-3 with no saves and a 5.23 ERA. He has given up 70 hits in 63.2 innings with 51 strikeouts. |
