Jeffrey Henderson Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
Wednesday, September 27th, 2028
The doctors have spoken and Jeffrey Henderson of the Quebec Armada didn't like what he heard. The 31-year-old left fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Henderson sustained his season-ending injury during the Georgia Grays game yesterday at The Death Star. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Quebec medical staff reported Henderson had a strained abdominal muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 1-2 weeks.
Presently Henderson is batting .329 and has collected 22 home runs, 99 RBIs, .349 OBP and scored 74 runs.
