Grays Jacobs Out Rest Of Season
Monday, September 25th, 2028
The season is ending on a bad note for John Jacobs, reliever for the Georgia Grays. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Jacobs was hurt against the Quebec Armada while throwing a pitch. He suffered a bone spur in his elbow and will be out for at least 4-5 months.

This season Jacobs has chalked up 30 saves, notched a 6-5 record with a 2.11 ERA, allowed 43 hits in his 64 innings of work, struck out 67 and walked 25. Opponents are hitting .193 against the Georgia hurler.
