Star of the Week Named in TML Monday, September 25th, 2028 The Thurman Munson League presented its Player of the Week Award to Portland Beavers shortstop Luis Ricciardi. "His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well." Indeed, Ricciardi has. Last week he went 8 for 16, batted .500 with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs. Thus far this season in 121 games Ricciardi is batting .306 with 8 home runs, 65 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 132 hits in 431 at-bats. |
