Patriots Cannon Out Rest Of Season Wednesday, September 6th, 2028 The Manhattan Beach Patriots and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher John Cannon would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Cannon was hurt in a recent game against the Omaha Titans while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn triceps. His doctors think that Cannon will miss about 4 months. In 28 starts this season Cannon has chalked up a 12-9 record and a 4.74 ERA. |
