Jersey's Shafer Will Miss Season Sunday, September 3rd, 2028 When Jersey reliever Carlton Shafer was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Jesters-Bombers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Shafer had sustained a torn rotator cuff and will be out for about 13 months. This year Shafer has made 38 relief appearances with 3 saves.
