Season Over for Joachim Doucet in Manhattan Beach Sunday, August 27th, 2028 The Manhattan Beach Patriots were dealt a severe blow when Joachim Doucet was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Quebec Armada. After the game, the team trainer reported Doucet might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old closer out for the rest of the season with a strained hamstring. They indicated it would take Doucet at least 2 months to heal. On the year Doucet has recorded 34 saves. In 55 relief appearances, he has 81 strikeouts in 60 innings with a 3.30 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 5-4. |
