Cruz Booms 400th Homer Thursday, August 24th, 2028 Kansas City's 8-2 victory over Georgia was highlighted by Jesús Cruz's 400th career home run. His teammates congratulated him at home plate after he circled the bases. "I didn't see all of them out there," Cruz said with a chuckle, "until I rounded third base." He added sheepishly: "It was only a home run. It's not like I won us a World Series!" In 3 at-bats the Tornadoes first baseman collected 1 hit in his historic game, scored 2 runs, and had 3 RBI.
