Mile High Loses Kodo for Year
Tuesday, August 22nd, 2028
The Mile High Mustangs and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Kenkichi Kodo would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Kodo was hurt in a recent game against the Eureka Hornets while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was radial nerve compression. His doctors think that Kodo will miss about 7 months.

This season Kodo has accumulated 17 saves, registered a 3.62 ERA and struck out 34 in 37.1 innings. He also has a 1-3 record in 33 relief appearances.
