Pakpahan Crashes 3 HR Against Portland Thursday, August 10th, 2028 Sometimes your best is just not enough. Bagaskoro Pakpahan had an outstanding day at Stars & Stripes Stadium, when he ripped three home runs. Nonetheless, the Manhattan Beach Patriots fell to the Portland Beavers 12-9. Pakpahan had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 24-year-old first baseman banged out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 5 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Patriots were not able to hold off the Beavers. "Baseball is a funny game," Pakpahan said in the post game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Bagaskoro Pakpahan hit a solo-shot off Pedro Pérez in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Pedro Pérez in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Reggie Dunlop in the 8th. So far this season, Pakpahan has recorded a .256 batting average with 81 hits, 17 home runs, 47 RBIs, 41 runs scored and a .317 OBP. |
