Bad Behavior Costs Jiménez and Berrios Tuesday, August 8th, 2028 If there wasn't a history between Gilberto Jiménez of New York and José Berrios of Georgia, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Jiménez said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." In his season totals, Jiménez has 10 home runs, .338 BA, .378 OBP, 35 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 55 games. In 24 starts this season Berrios has chalked up a 8-6 record and a 3.80 ERA. |
