Brooklyn RF Nishikawa Will Miss 4 Weeks Sunday, July 23rd, 2028 The Brooklyn Black Knights learned that Kata Nishikawa is likely to be out for 4 weeks after he injured himself making a defensive play in today's game against the Dallas Texans. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be shoulder tendinitis. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Brooklyn manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Kata is back in action." Presently Nishikawa is batting .297 with 97 hits and 12 home runs. He has knocked in 42 runs and scored 57 times. |
