Hot Bat Cooled, Dempsey Hitless Against Jacks Friday, July 21st, 2028 Marshall Dempsey's sizzling streak was snapped at 21 today as the Mile High Mustangs dropped a game to the Jacksonville Jacks 7-6 at Skellington Stadium. Dempsey failed to get a hit and went 0-for-4. After the game Dempsey spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a streak. I just ran into some good pitching today." For the season Dempsey has produced 137 hits in 394 at-bats for a .348 average with 26 home runs and gotten on base at a .379 clip. |
