TML's Best Player, Yamasaki of South Carolina Monday, July 10th, 2028 At the age of 29, Kiyonobu Yamasaki might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The South Carolina center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .529 batting average. For his efforts Yamasaki collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 4 games. So far this season, Yamasaki has recorded a .343 batting average with 108 hits, 18 home runs, 69 RBIs, 74 runs scored and a .422 OBP. |
