Nevárez Earns TML's Best Pitcher Honor Saturday, July 1st, 2028 Andrés Nevárez has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in June and stole away with the Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month award. The Hornets bullpen ace collected 11 saves and 15 strikeouts in 15 innings, holding the opposition to a .167 average and posting a 0.60 ERA and a 0-0 record. To date Nevárez has 30 saves with a 1-3 mark and 3.32 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .252 against him. |
